{"id":408,"date":"2020-07-30T18:41:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-30T18:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mariellacassarcordina.com\/?p=408"},"modified":"2020-08-04T15:05:30","modified_gmt":"2020-08-04T15:05:30","slug":"layers-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mariellacassarcordina.com\/layers-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Layers Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Under the curation of Vince Briffa, the collaborative art project&nbsp;<strong><em>Layers<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;will combine the work of composer&nbsp;<strong>Mariella Cassar-Cordina<\/strong>, visual artist&nbsp;<strong>Victor Agius<\/strong>, writer&nbsp;<strong>Immanuel Mifsud<\/strong>&nbsp;and many other local artists.<em>Layers<\/em>&nbsp;is a contemporary amalgamation of sonic and visual elements designed by arts collective&nbsp;<strong>Ars Vitae Ensemble<\/strong>, and inspired by the heritage and history of&nbsp;<strong>St Agatha\u2019s Catacombs<\/strong>. This interdisciplinary project will feature Immanuel Mifsud\u2019s words transformed into music compositions by Mariella Cassar-Cordina, which will be scored for a male choir, percussion and electronics.
